Music in the Mountains 2025 is back for another summer of world-class performances set against one of the most beautiful backdrops in the country.
The Festival
Running from late June through early August, Music in the Mountains brings professional musicians from around the country to Durango. The programming spans full orchestral performances, chamber music, jazz evenings, and family-friendly concerts.
The Setting
The outdoor venue with the San Juan Mountains as a backdrop is what sets this festival apart. Watching the sun set behind 13,000-foot peaks while listening to live music is an experience that's hard to match.
